An (as yet unfinished) Self Portrait
Here be my new blog! I herewith present to you my dear future readers, certainly not my first self portrait, but definitely the first attempt at one painted using acrylics on canvas, and I believe, (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong) the first of said portraits in which my face features a more or less fully grown beard. It, (the beard) is gone now, as I usually use one only in wintertime, for added warmth.
Within the coming weeks, it is my intention to use this venue to share my most recent artworks with planet Earth (isn't the internet wonderful?) - everything from pencil sketches, watercolours and prints, to fully realized paintings.
I hope you will enjoy the sporadic, tiny glimpses into my world that these works may provide.
